Description:
Ephemeral architectural element made from mycelium and woody substrate 40x40cm

Project:
This artistic and architectural research project explores innovation in sustainable materials, developing a prototype that uses woody substrate and mycelium to create ephemeral architectural ornamental elements. We began with a focus on post-carbon materials and discovered that mycelium combined with woody substrates offers a solution that redefines traditional architectural aesthetics.

This decorative element not only beautifies the space but also promotes sustainability, being fully biodegradable and reaffirming our commitment to the environment. This approach proposes a vision of the future where architecture actively contributes to the ecological health of the planet, aligning aesthetics and environmental responsibility in a single expression.
