Project:
The landscape is composed of elements, many of which are not accessible to the observer. Long ago, the landscape ceased to be merely picturesque, evolving into something more complex, resembling an ecosystem more than a painting. The landscape is the object, the subject, and the connection produced by different means.

In this territory of international significance, we reveal the connection of one of the most transcendental components that shapes the landscape of the Rioja Alta: the vine, the wine. We closely examine its roots, the support of the vineyard. It is the womb. They are the foundations of one of the most recognized sustainable industries in the market. There is a life within it that we do not see; it is the oldest on our planet, and now it becomes the Anthropocene. This component of the landscape is the soil, the geology.

+ The Earth

We showcase the slow maturation of the bowels of the Earth, illuminating the soil during twilight hours to create an atmosphere of intimacy with GAIA. A red light emanates from within the womb, redefining the heart of this landscape, the vineyard, with the goal of strengthening the connection between the observer and geology as a living being. The shape of this crack arises from the geological enclave that constitutes the Rioja Alta, which coincides with the Cenozoic chronostratigraphy, where Riojan wine originates.
